So, since I’m off to Falmouth University in a week I thought it was time to share with you my packing list. I’ve already started boxing up most of my stuff but I’ve taken some photos of some of my favourite items. But to be honest most of the stuff, like duvets and mattress toppers, look boring anywhere so weren’t worth photographing. Anyway, here it is, a universities essentials packing list.
- Frying pan
- Scissors ( anyone who knows my family know we use a pair of scissors more than a knife!)
- Tea towel
- Oven Gloves
- Baking tray
- Bottle opener
- Cheese grater
I got my glasses and bowls in Hong Kong. I thought the shell bowl was apt since I’m spending the next three years in a sea side town. And the glasses were only £1 which is good considering they’ll probably get broken.
This tea towel was very cheap from Ikea considering it will get dirty very fast. Ikea was a life saver for cheap saucepans as I didn’t have any spares lying round the house.
- Mattress topper
- Duvet and pillow covers
- laundry bag
- Storage box’s- if you have space under your bed!
- Clothing hangers
- Hair dryer
- Door Stop
- Pins- if you have a pin board
- Alarm Clock
I found T.K Maxx a life saver. I could get good quality but discounted items like my mattress topper and duvet. As well as these fab pins.
- Plus all your toiletries and makeup etc
- First Aid Kit- paracetamol, plasters etc
Random Other Things You Might Want:
- Laptop + charger
- Phone charger
- Camera- if you have one
- Hole punch
- Personal documents + ID
- Any stationary/ folders you need for your course
- Lamp (if your uni don’t provide one)
I’m sure I’ve missed lots of stuff so let me know if I have! I also got sent a very long list of stuff I need for my course, since it’s creative there’s lot, no clue where I’m going to keep it! I hope this has been helpful and I’ll be back on Wednesday with an exciting post on the Balenciaga Exhibition I’m going to on Tuesday. Enjoy 🙂 xxx
